Join us on Saturday, February 1st from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM for a free indoor baseball fundamentals clinic in partnership with Lower Merion Little League. Led by former New York Met, Zach Lutz, and former New York Yankee and General Manager for ASSA Conshohocken, Eric Ruth, this clinic offers specialized stations for Defense, Hitting, and Pitching, providing valuable insights and techniques for players of all levels.

About Your Instructors
Eric Ruth had an exceptional baseball career, beginning as a three-year varsity player at North Penn High School, where he contributed to winning the 2009 PIAA AAAA State Championship. His achievements earned him inductions into the North Penn Baseball Hall of Fame in 2019 and the North Penn Alumni Athletic Association Hall of Fame in 2024. Ruth continued his baseball journey at Winthrop University, playing Division I baseball before signing with the New York Yankees in 2013. Eric spent five seasons in the Yankees organization, he excelled as a 2015 Eastern League AA All-Star and advanced to AAA Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, showcasing his talent and dedication at every level.
Zach Lutz, a former New York Mets player, brings a wealth of professional baseball experience to All-Star Sports Academy. During his time with the Mets, Lutz showcased his skills as a versatile infielder, competing at the highest level in Major League Baseball. His playing career included notable performances in both the MLB and minor league system, where he was recognized for his consistency at the plate and solid defensive abilities. After transitioning from professional baseball, Lutz has spent several years coaching, providing lessons, and overseeing programs at All-Star Sports Academy. Recently named the Director of Teams at ASSA, he continues to use his extensive knowledge of the game to mentor young athletes, helping them develop their skills and achieve their goals both on and off the field.
